For Therapists

Starting Out in Private Practice

Private practice can be a lonely journey, and starting out can be overwhelming.

If you’re thinking of moving into private practice or have recently started your own private practice, you might find it helpful to refer to my blog post, “A Therapist’s Guide to Setting Up a Private Practice in Singapore”.

As I’ve received requests for 1-to-1 support, I also offer collaborative Therapist’s Roadmap sessions for therapists who want a sounding board to work through the challenges of private practice, such as:

  • Should I go into private practice?

  • What should my niche be? Who are my ideal clients?

  • How should I market myself?

  • What are the practical aspects of setting up a practice?

  • How do I navigate imposter syndrome, burnout and boundaries?

I’m not a private practice guru, but I know how helpful it can be to talk with someone who’s a peer but not a friend!

Therapy for Therapists

Many of my clients are fellow therapists. Some see me for just a few sessions to process painful memories that keep them feeling stuck.

Techniques like MEMI and Brain-Switch 2.0 are brief and can be content-free, which saves you time and money, and respects your boundaries (see my blog post, When Therapists Need Therapy).
